Last Friday, 22nd of October, Year 5 and Ben went whale watching at Coffs
Harbour with YEC (Youth Environmental council) it was amazing and everyone loved it.
When we got there the lady was telling us some stuff about Humpback Whales, Then we walked onto the boat put our bags down and went up stairs then we took off it was about five minutes until we saw two enormous amazing Humpback Whales leaping out of the water.
As the water rippled slowly past the boat there was nothing to be seen then a big spout of water shot out like lava from a volcano there black and white tail flapping on the clear blue water.
Then we saw a calf flying out of the water showing off.
